Every three years, the Office of Organizational Effectiveness conducts a two-part needs assessment of its leadership training courses to inform development. Dr. Thompson and Dr. Garrison assisted program staff in developing and designing the needs assessment survey and collected and analyzed participant responses to survey questions.
Using quantitative and qualitative methods, the evaluators assessed the effectiveness of the courses delivered over the past three year, as well participants’ potential needs for additional courses to help improve their leadership skills by employing. The final result was a comprehensive, publication-quality report for stakeholders to inform decision-making.
